BM signs Myanmar MOU and eyes 20% growth in 2019. 

Bangkok Sheet Metal signs MOU with Great Merits and Tunn Star, local business partners in Myanmar, to grow their business in metal products manufacturing & sales, also aim for 20% growth in year 2019 with backlog of 500 million baht.

Mr. Tanin Sajjaboribun, Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Sheet Metal Public Company Limited or BM, reveals that today (28 January 2019) BM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Great Merits Company Limited, a leading electrical switchboard manufacturer in Myanmar, and Tunn Star Company Limited, the sole distributor of PTT lubricants in Myanmar.

The objective of this MOU is to make jointly investment by establishing a joint venture business in the Thailawa Special Economic Zone, Yangon, Myanmar in order to increase business capacity for manufacturing and supplying roll forming products, enclosures, cabinets, communication racks, and other metal products.

 Our unique integrated expertise, experience and resources will enhance the production capacity, cost reduction and profit margin increase, including customer base and market expansion in Myanmar and Asian countries. In addition, this will further develop closer economic relations between Myanmar and Thailand, Mr. Tanin adds.

As well, in the fiscal year 2019 BM sets for 20% growth, increasing from the previous year, and has a backlog worth 500 million baht. Besides, BM keeps moving forward with new project leads to deliver better business result in the future.
