PTG rolls out Coffee Franchise Business under Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World brands

Expects to reap positive outcomes from fast-growing

 

PTG Energy” pushes forward coffee franchise business under Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World brands to encourage anyone who wants to run a coffee shop while expecting positive outcomes from fast-growing coffee stores to support strong growth of non-oil operations.

 

Mr. Pitak Ratchakitprakarn, President & Chief Executive Officer of PTG Energy Public Company Limited, or PTG, revealed that the company has kicked off franchise business of Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World to encourage anyone who wants to run a coffee shop which in turn will produce positive outcome to the company’s coffee shop expansion.

As for business plan of Non-oil in 2019, the company targets to maintain sales growth of 50-60%. Currently, the company operates more than 504 retail outlets of convenience store Max Mart,Pun Thai Coffee, Coffee World, Krua Ban Jit Thai Dishes, Service & Maintenance for Truck, Autobacs and Max Camp, altogether.

Furthermore, the company plans to expand service stations to 2,000 branches from 1,883 branches at the end of 2018 by focusing on right location that suitable to serve non-oil service to customers. The company also sets aside investment budget of 3.5 billion Baht, of which 2.5 billion Baht for oil business and related business, 500 million Baht for non-oil business and the balance of 500 million Baht for new business.

 

Mr. Pharit Anugulthanakarn, Vice President-General Administration of Pun Thai Coffee Company Limited and GFA Corporation (Thailand) Company Limited as brand manager of Coffee World said that the launch of franchise of Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World will help encourage new generations and new graduates who want to start a coffee shop as well as support career building in the country. Moreover, it will speed up the company’s expansion for Pun Thai Coffee and Coffee World. At the end of 2018, Pun Thai Coffee branch stood at 203 while Coffee World recorded 71 of domestic branches.

For those interested in purchasing a franchise, Pun Thai Coffee requires an investment of 2.3 million Baht and an investment of Coffee World is 3.3 million Baht.
